For this digital illustration, I was inspired by fairytale creatures, such as, well, fairies. I used nature-based motifs to create her clothing design, with the dress meant to mimic an upside-down blooming flower. Some modern elements were used to try and create a more unique feel to the design, such elements include silver ear cuffs and laced boots. The art style itself is meant to feel like it is bleeding through paper while still remaining digital. Color bleeds through sketchy lineart, things usually found in more traditional mediums.
